Roma probably means HOT in English

It’s supposed to be around 20 but I feel like it’s 27 :S Good thing there's a good wind blowing to cool me down…

We had a great night. We all sletp very well and all the way to 9am. We even had a hard time waking Lianne up, hehe. We ate breakfast at the hotel. We had chosen it because they have a gluten free menu and breakfast is included in the price. It was good and Nath and Lianne were really happy ;)

We then left to make our way towards Trajan Market. Rome, like most old cities, is nice because you can just set yourself a destination and you’re sure to find many cool things to look at or visit along the way.

"Bibite" means "bug" in French :S but drinks in Italian

Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri

Repubblica

Palazzo delle Esposizioni

Drinking out of Rome's many fountains :)

Trajan Market

Chiesa del Santissimo Nome di Maria al Foro Traiano

Forum

We visited Capitol Hill, Circo Maximo, went back to the Coloseum to try to find our guide from yesterday, it seems visiting Palantine hill was part of our price. We didn't find her so we visited the part of it that you don't have to pay and then went to Monumento a VittorioEmanuele something which is humongous ! We ate Chinese, saw the Trevi fountain, ate Gelato (there was some without milk!) and now we're back ;)

Capitol Hill

Forum

Santa Maria in Cosmedin containing the Bocca della Verità (Mouth Of Truth)

Circus Maximus

Tourist trying to take a picture while balancing on a Segway. I saw a couple of Segway tours... weird.

Waiting for our guide...that we never saw

Lianne likes to put her fingers in our ears and face when she's on our shoulders. She does it on purpose and laughs :)

Julius Caesar

Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II

At the Chinese restaurant. Lianne started to make this face for fun, especially to strangers, when she eats.

Fontana di Trevi

And I'll cut this post short because my 30 minutes are up ! Ciao !

I sent this to you on facebook, but I'm not sure you're checking it:

Most amazing restuarant in Rome:

Sora Margherita
Piazza della Cinque Scole 30
Be there at 12:20 PM sharp, it's full with a long line by 12:35.
When you sit down, ask them to keep bringing food until you say stop.

Best pizza in Rome by a landslide:
Da Francesco
Piazza del Fico 29
Wait to get in here, it's worth it.

Best Gelato in Rome:
Il Gelato di San Crispino
Via della Panetteria 42

Best ice cream in Florence:
Geloteria dei Neri
Via de' Neri 22r

Make sure to see the Cappella Brancacci there, I cried it was so beautiful.

Buona Fortuna, have a wonderful time!
