Last night was great. We all slept very well, probably from being so full :P We ate breakfast, went to a souvenir shop close by to buy a t-shirt for Lianne, checked out and left for Termini, the central train station.
Finding the train wasn’t too hard but I’m glad we left early for the train station because the electronic ticket dispensers didn’t recognize my reservation code so I had to wait in line to get our tickets and the train track where we had to go to was a bit far.
It seems like Lianne is talking more and more :) Learning new words and communicating what she wants. She also seems to be starting her terrible 2. It’s not intolerable yet but we can see the seeds of what she’ll be like in a couple of months :S You can see she’s testing her (our) limits.
To go to Siena it took around 3h30 hours and 2 trains. We had the stupid idea of walking to our hotel… It was all hills and the reason why we decided to do it was because the hotel was close…but it should have been our reason to take a taxi…
In the 1st train, I'm writing my blog

Our room is at ground level and we have a little terrace. The hotel is kind of fancy, I should take a picture of the cars in front…
I did take a picture :P

We took a taxi to go to the nice part of Siena. We saw Il Campo and the piazza and it’s really breathtaking. Siena is truly a beautiful city and I can’t wait to really visit it tomorrow. We ate at a restaurant in one of the alleys close by Il Campo where they serve classic dishes from the region. The food was so good and they were to nice to accommodate Nath and Lianne that we’re seriously considering going back tomorrow night. There are still some dishes that we’d like to try ;)

Sienna was the rival city of Firenze at the time and had as much power till the black death made the difference... :( It is interesting to keep that in mind until your next stop. R
Enjoy!
