Paris, mon amour!

I'm now in Paris. I love this city. The last press event in Munich went also well. We then went to a traditional bavarian restaurant. I ate a pepper steak and drank weiss beer. After supper, everybody went to bed except Brent, Karlsten and I. We went to drink some more at a popular brewery and after that at a rock bar that had a tape night.

I drank a lot and we had a lot of fun. Yesterday I took the plane for Paris, checked in my hotel and went to check out the show. I met my contacts, everyone is nice.  I left to go eat and buy diapers for when Lianne and Nath arrive. Because I was tired and it was getting late, I bought myself some McDonald's :P It's worth it in France because the meat is so much better.
Today I did a lot of demos. It went well, people are excited and very happy that someone from the team came to France to tell them about the game. I got a shit load of cool goodies too :D I worked till midnight. Tomorow's also a big day but I can come in a bit late ;)

Köln

Cologne. I just left Cologne and arrived in Munich. Since my last post, plenty has happened. Both press events in Hamburg and Cologne went super well and every one seems super excited by ACII. After the press event in Hamburg we ate at the hotel restaurant and it was super good. After that me and Brent went to take pictures on Reeperbahn street which is a street filled with casinos, sex shops and prostitutes. It's the red light district and it was pretty empty. It was a rainy and cold Tuesday night so we weren't surprised. I have really good pictures of Barbies with fetish suits.

After the press event in Cologne, we ate and drank at a small micro-brewery where it was only locals. The beer was excellent and we drank a local specialty called "kölch" served in small 200ml glasses (my friends called them baby beers when they came for Games Con). We had home made bread with cold cuts and later I had a schnitzel. After that, some of us went to take pictures of the Cologne Cathedral. It's height is quite impressive!

Now in Munich. I'm soon leaving for my last press event in Germany. Tonight we're going to a very popular brewery. More on that later ;)

My hotel, Wasserturm, which used to be a tower of some sort. The keychain was a small copy of the hotel but in brass or something. I think I weighted 500g (it felt like the amount of meat I buy when I make myself hamburgers)

Essen

Food. We had supper at a Brazilian restaurant yesterday where its all you can eat, MEAT :D it was really good. We drank a lot and a bit more at the hotel and then I went to bed. I had been up for around 36 hours.
The buffet at the hotel was amazing this morning. There was even a waffle machine and I made me a delicious waffle :9 accompanied by cold cuts, a croissant, orange juice and coffee.

Neue Shuhe

New shoes!  What better way to start a trip than to buy new shoes and break them in on your trip. Especially if you buy Adidas in Germany :) Funny enough though, the pair I chose is a special collection branded with the city of NY, Hehe.
It was cloudy and rainy but I still took a couple of pictures. I hooked up with Brent, a collegue from Ubi MTL that I had met through a friend and that I got to know better at E3 and TGS.
He ate (I had eaten a cool kind of pizza while shopping) and we both drank some beer.
Soon I'm meeting up with the rest of the team to talk about tomorrow and go out for supper.
